Residents of Burston share their memories of evacuee life
Seven residents of Burston village gave their account of what evacuation and evacuee life was like in video interviews recorded by members of the CABER Project. The interviews were held at Burston Primary School with help from the CABER Project who supplied the video equipment. Each video features a resident answering questions by three of the students. Questions like: What happened on the day of evacuation?, What evacuation arrangements did the school make?, What was your most memorable experience as an evacuee?, Do you think the Evacuation Scheme was a good idea?.
